Hard coating is sprayed on the external surface of PC lampshade to prevent scratching, abrasion and aging. The contact probe of the F10-HC optical film thickness gauge can directly adhere to the surface of curved lampshades, accurately locate the 200 μ m light spot, and quickly output thickness data.
After the hard coating is applied, the lampshade needs to undergo high-temperature curing treatment. During this process, the part of the hard coating in contact with the PC substrate will penetrate into the interior of the PC resin, forming an interpenetration layer (IPL), greatly enhancing the adhesion between the coating and the substrate and preventing detachment. But the thickness of the infiltration layer needs to be strictly monitored - if too much infiltration occurs, the surface hard coating will become thinner and the protective effect will weaken; There is too little infiltration, insufficient bonding force, and there is still a risk of coating detachment.

Can the F10-HC film thickness gauge accurately measure the transparent PC lampshade?
