On March 23, 2015, our engineers conducted an online installation of AVI active shock absorber platform and Hitachi SU8010 field emission electron microscope in the laboratory on the 13th floor of the Science and Technology Building of Nanjing University. After careful installation and debugging by the engineers, the scanning electron microscope with active shock absorber was turned on, and the imaging effect showed a geometric multiple improvement with a resolution of one nanometer. The installation was unanimously approved by the laboratory teachers and the active shock absorber platform was given on-site acceptance treatment. The installation was successfully completed.
Overall rendering after installation:

As shown in the figure, the AVI shock absorber is installed at the bottom of the Hitachi SU8010 SEM with consistent integrity
Comparison of Electron Microscope Photos of Opening and Closing the Seismic Stand
To verify the seismic effect, the seismic table was opened and closed for observation and photography. The obtained electron microscope photos are as follows:
Turn off the seismic table photography effect

Enable the seismic table photography effect

From the above photos, it can be seen that the photos taken by the electron microscope with the shock absorber in the closed state are basically unusable. However, after using the shock absorber, the vibration stripes in the photos obtained by the electron microscope are greatly reduced, and the clarity is significantly improved. The detail clarity of the sample taken at 1 nanometer is better.
Overview of the use of shock absorbers:
When a regular scanning electron microscope (SEM) is installed in high-rise buildings (2 floors or more) or in areas with strong vibrations (such as nearby underground subways), it cannot be observed or photographed at a magnification of more than 30000 times. And use a vibration isolation system - anti vibration table. Field emission electron microscopy (FEM) requires observation and photography at hundreds of thousands of times magnification, with higher requirements for vibration. Even if installed on the first floor, it still cannot meet the requirements. It is generally required to install an anti vibration table.
Unicon Technology Co., Ltd. acts as an agent for multiple active shock absorbers for Swiss Table Stable. Its AVI product consists of 2 or more separate unit isolation pads, making installation very convenient.
