The measurement principle of 3D optical surface profilometer:

The light emitted by the light source is collimated and then split into two beams by a beam splitter prism. One beam is reflected back from the surface being measured, while the other beam is reflected by a reference mirror. The two reflected beams converge and interfere. The microscope converts the morphological characteristics of the surface being measured into interference fringe signals, and measures the three-dimensional morphology of the surface by measuring the changes in the interference fringes.
