HERZ UT-1000A Active Shock Absorber System

The HERZ UT-1000A active vibration damping system provided by Unicon Technology is designed specifically for large research instruments such as electron microscopes. It uses piezoelectric sensors and piezoelectric transducer technology, with an active isolation range of 1-200Hz (extended to 0.5Hz with LFS low-frequency stabilizer) and passive isolation of ≥ 200Hz, which can isolate vibration interference in six spatial directions. The system adopts an ultra-thin modular design, with no low-frequency resonance and no need for air pressure support. Four vibration reduction modules can support large equipment such as FEI Titan TEM weighing up to 3500kg. After installation, the overall outline of the microscope remains largely unchanged, and no specialized lifting equipment is required. Installation can be completed within 1 hour. Support customized customization for each electron microscope. Suitable for scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), ultra-high vacuum scanning probe microscopy (UHV-SPM), photolithography equipment, high-precision metrology equipment, and spectroscopic measurement equipment. Younikon Technology provides professional technical support and on-site installation services.
The HERZ UT-1000A platform provides active isolation performance (starting from 0.5Hz) for electron microscopes and similar large research instruments. The HERZ UT-1000A platform helps users obtain more information from microscopes by eliminating destructive low-frequency vibration noise that interferes with measurements. The HERZ UT-1000A platform adopts a modular design, simplifying the installation process and eliminating the need for specialized lifting equipment for most instruments during installation.

HERZ UT-1000A Supporting A FEI Titan TEM

Due to the modular design of the HERZ UT-1000A platform, the 3500 kg Titan can be supported by four shock absorption modules. This image depicts a FEI Titan TEM supported by the HERZ UT-1000A platform, which was previously affected by low-frequency vibration noise.
UT-1000A Supporting A FEI QEMSCAN 650 SEM

The HERZ UT-1000A platform is typically paired with scanning electron microscopes, which come in various sizes and shapes. The advantage of the HERZ UT-1000A platform is that they do not require professional lifting equipment or rigging systems for installation, only the internal leveling feet of SEMs need to be raised high enough (5 inches) to place the anti vibration module underneath. From the above image, it can be seen that a FEI QEMSCAN 650 SEM is installed on the UT-1000A platform supporting the SEM framework. After installation, SEM quickly began to obtain better imaging quality from measurements than before.
UT-1000A Supporting A Carl Zeiss SIGMA VP SEM

The commonly used shock absorption solution for Carl Zeiss scanning electron microscopes is to pair it with the UT-1000A. Due to its design, the internal frame is easy to use, and the UT-1000A platform can be installed within an hour without the need for lifting equipment. The above figure shows Carl Zeiss SIGMA VP in combination with the UT-1000A platform
