HORIBA CN-300 Centrifugal Nanoparticle Analyzer

HORIBA CN-300 Centrifugal Nanoparticle Analyzer Product Introduction:
The HORIBA CN-300 centrifugal nanoparticle analyzer provided by Unicon Technology is based on the principle of centrifugal sedimentation, with a measurement range of 1nm~30 μ m, and can clearly distinguish different components with particle size ratios as low as 1.1. Suitable for high-resolution nanoparticle size distribution detection in nanomaterials, biomedicine (liposomes/virus particles), CMP polishing solutions, fine ceramics, ink pigments, and other fields. Support particle density input, Stokes particle size calculation, and multimodal distribution models to assist R&D and quality control personnel in accurately identifying agglomeration states and polydispersity systems. Younikon Technology provides professional technical support.
HORIBA CN-300 centrifugal nanoparticle analyzer can achieve high-precision measurement of particle size distribution in undiluted and diluted samples.
The particle size of particles is measured based on their size classification, which is a key characteristic of centrifugal separation method. Therefore, a single measurement can yield accurate results over a wide range. HORIBA CN-300 centrifugal nanoparticle analyzer can provide two measurement methods: density gradient mode and uniform mode.
HORIBA CN-300 Product features of centrifugal nanoparticle analyzer:
Can capture a small amount of impurity particles or aggregates
HORIBA CN-300 centrifugal nanoparticle analyzer can capture small amounts of impurity particles due to its high resolution. It allows you to obtain reliable measurement results across the entire particle size distribution range, including results for particle groups with low content and low proportion.
The performance of the instrument remains stable even after long-term measurement
The sample chamber and turntable have cooling functions to prevent the temperature of the sample from rising during rotation. By maintaining a constant viscosity of the solvent, the reliability of the measurement results can be improved. HORIBA CN-300 centrifugal nanoparticle analyzer is very quiet and easy to operate safely.
Durable and easy to operate
Simply inject the sample into the sample pool
The colorimetric dish type sample cell is easy to clean and replace, reducing the risk of sample cross contamination.
Measurement principle of HORIBA CN-300 centrifugal nanoparticle analyzer:
HORIBA CN-300 centrifugal nanoparticle size analyzer is based on centrifugal separation method, which measures the settling velocity of particles under centrifugal force to deduce their particle size and obtain particle size distribution information. Specifically, the CN-300 heart type nanoparticle analyzer utilizes the correlation between the settling velocity and particle size of particles under centrifugal force, and derives the particle size by accurately measuring the settling velocity, thereby obtaining a detailed distribution of particle size.
HORIBA CN-300The main applications of centrifugal nanoparticle analyzer are:
semiconductor | Functional nanomaterials | Pigments and inks | energy |
CMP slurry | carbon nanotube | Pigments, fuels | battery materials |
| Advanced carbon materials | Toner suspension |
|
| nanocellulose |

HORIBA CN-300Difference between density gradient mode and homogenization mode of centrifugal nano particle analyzer:
Density gradient mode
The sample is injected into a density gradient solution, and the particle size is obtained by calculating the precipitation time required for the particles to reach the detector. This mode enables you to measure very small amounts of high concentration samples with high resolution.

Uniform mode
Centrifugal settling occurs in a uniform sample system, and the particle size distribution is calculated based on the information of particles passing through the detection area. This mode is used to measure low concentration samples.

HORIBA CN-300Measurement case of centrifugal nanoparticle analyzer:
High resolution measurement of particle size distribution
The following figure shows the results of measuring a mixed sample containing four identical concentrations of silica standard particles using a centrifugal particle size analyzer. The areas occupied by the four different particle sizes are almost the same. Because particles are classified by centrifugal force, using density gradient mode measurement can obtain accurate particle size distribution.

Sample: Standard particles (take one drop each of 0.48um, 0.73um, 0.99um, and 1.57um standard samples and mix them)
Injection volume: 10uL
Solvent: Sucrose solution
Measurement conditions: Density gradient mode
Measurement of particle size distribution of a small amount of high concentration samples
Centrifugal particle size analyzer can measure high concentration samples that are difficult to measure by other methods, such as undiluted black pigments used in inkjet printers, and obtain high-precision measurement results with a required sample volume of only 2 μ L.

Sample: Black pigment for inkjet printer (undiluted solution)
Injection volume: 2uL
Solvent: Sucrose solution
Measurement conditions: Density gradient mode
